We took the kids to the fair for Rosebud’s birthday. Thank you, Grandma, for rides bracelets for everyone! And thank you, Hannah and Favorite Aunt D and Cousin C for coming to share her special day!
Natter, surprisingly, wasn’t really into the more exciting rides. He had a great time hanging out on the ‘kiddy’ rides with the Moose.
We all enjoyed the carousel, though. The Moose was so astonished that he was able to ride a horse that went So High!!
He quickly got used to it, though, and wanted to go again. And again.
Rosebud also surprised me. She wanted to go on the wildest rides that she was tall enough for, and would have been perfectly fine on the roller coaster. I’m very VERY glad that Aunt D and Cousin C were there to take her on those, because while I did brave one coaster and a swings ride, I was pretty much DONE with anything beyond tame with just those two.
We stayed till the fair closed, and then went home. Except, we picked up green beans from our favorite farmer on the way. At 11:45 PM at night! Poor man, he’d gotten stuck on the pass and only beat us there by 20 minutes… and he headed out after we left to make a delivery to Carnation.
And I thought the Fair was intense!
